The Possibility Studies Network (PSN) is a vibrant community of academics, researchers, and practitioners dedicated to exploring the vast realm of human and more-than-human possibilities.
This international network focuses on understanding agency, creativity, imagination, innovation, and the myriad ways individuals, groups, and societies can explore possible worlds and possible futures. Through inter- and trans-disciplinary collaboration, PSN aims to chart new territories in the emerging field of possibility studies by connecting insights from the human and social sciences, education, the arts and design, among others.
Whether examining utopias and dystopias, play and improvisation, or serendipity and wonder, PSN facilitates dialogues that deepen our understanding of the dynamic interplay between ‘what is’ and what is ‘not (yet) here’, what is ‘elsewhere’, and even what is ‘nowhere’.
